How to query data from a dataset

Once you located a dataset of your interest, next step is to query its data by specific criteria. Simply follow these basic steps.

Select a dataset in the Dataset Browser.
Click a dimension name to see list of its available items. Most datasets offer Country, Indicator, and Time dimensions, while some datasets provide additional choices.
Select elements to view from the data dimension. Click an item to add it to the query, the item will change its icon. Click it again to remove an item from data query.
The Dataset Browser does not prompt you to make selections from all dimensions, it will recommend most valuable viz types based on your current data selection. You only need to select particular indicators or series and it will offer a map or a ranking.
Select the most suitable visualization from the list on the right.
