Notes:

  • This provider had had issues sending over complete datasets before. We should make a note of this when we do future data updates.

  • When new data files are delivered, new tickers may be added. If new tickers appear in future data updates, we will need to go to D&B and ask them to give us the DUNS numbers for the newly-added tickers.

There is no “matching” in the traditional sense. Instead, we will need to add a column and map the DUNS numbers provided by D&B in the match logic file to the tickers in the data table (e.g. if Ticker = CUBE, then DUNS number = 788617640).

(Note: For the latest self storage dataset, you will not find data for the following tickers: Pvt, REIT, and UHAL. Big Byte Insights stated that these are not part of D&B’s data subscription.)
